

Biography
Dr. Elise Simpson received her undergraduate training at Michigan State University. She stayed at Michigan State University where she earned her medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013. She completed her residency training at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia, where she was the administrative chief resident in her final year.
Dr. Simpson has special interests in obstetrics, substance use disorders in pregnancy, abnormal uterine bleeding, contraceptive management, adolescent care, menopause, and gynecologic surgery. She performs minimally invasive surgery including use of the da Vinci Robot.
Dr. Simpson’s professional memberships include fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, American Osteopathic Association, & American Medical Association. She is board eligible. She was clinical assistant professor at Western Michigan University School of Medicine.
